​Mollie was born in Dallas then moved with her family to Cheyenne, Wyoming where she grew up and graduated from high school.  She attended York College in Nebraska, then went to ACU where she graduated with a BBA in 1981.  A few years later, she returned to WTSU where she received her teaching degree and spent the next 26 years in education teaching Kindergarten, retiring in 2015.  She and her late husband, Dutch, were married in 1999 and moved to Amarillo in 2001. Mollie has 3 grown children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 very spoiled wiener dog.  In her free time, Mollie loves to read, cross-stitch, and drink a great cup of coffee.
