MISSIONS IMPACT!
Every October we turn our focus to local and global missions. We will celebrate these partnership and invite you to celebrate with us! If you choose to participate in Missions Impact by giving, you can start that today on the app! You can either
give now or make a pledge. When you give online, be sure to select “Missions Impact 2027: as the Fund.
DAY OF PRAYER & FASTING
During Missions Impact, we focus our attention on the work God is doing locally and globally through our mission partners. On Wednesday, October 7, we invite you to join us in fasting throughout the day, either from food or social media or something else that helps you focus your attention back toward God. As we fast, keep our mission work in your prayers. And then we’ll break our fast together at 6:30pm with Sharky’s burritos.
There is no cost, but donations will be accepted.
MID-WEEK FOCUS IS CHANGING
For October, rather than our rhythm of going live each Wednesday morning, be checking Facebook and Instagram for weekly videos from us. We will be sharing stories about how God has impacted us through the work of missions and being in the world. We hope these are encouraging to you and share a picture of the ways God is moving in the world. If you aren't following us on social media yet, please follow us so you won't miss any updates!
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
GATHERING
For four Wednesday nights this fall, Hannah McNeill will be leading a Wednesday night gathering. This will be more experiential and discussion based. The dates are Oct. 14, Oct. 21, Nov. 4, and Nov. 11. More details coming soon!
DINNER & BARN DANCE!
Come join us on Friday, Oct. 23,from 6-9:00pm, at the Shepherd’s Barn at 15100 Halsey Trail for dinner and dancing! Don’t knowhow to dance? No worries, we have some local celebrities to guide us! Cost: $10/person, 18+

SUNSHINERS LUNCHEON
Join us on TOMORROW at 12noon, in Sneed Hall for a delightful presentation from two
ladies who traveled around the world in their 80’s! They wrote a book about their
experiences “Here We Go: Lessons for Living Fearlessly from Two Traveling Nanas”. Lunch will be Rosemary Chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, bread, and dessert. Cost: $5/person. Bring your friends & neighbors! You won’t want to miss this!
LADIES BIBLE CLASS
Join us Wednesday mornings at 9:30am in the Commons for our weekly Ladies Bible Class! We will be studying John Ortberg’s series “The Untroubled Heart”. If you have not yet participated, we would love to have you in our time of fellowship and study!
