The Central Church of Christ joins God’s greater story of the Kingdom that brings about
redemption and renewal—guided by the Father, expressed in Jesus Christ, and

The Holy Spirit transforms us into the image of Christ. We commit to being a church that cultivates daily habits of faith and encourages growth 

We will be a church of transforming disciples who are living the way of Jesus led by the Holy Spirit.
We seek to utilize all ministries and gatherings in providing practical resources and materials in developing faith and spirituality through healthy relationships, personal wellbeing, and more meaningful/purposeful living.
We incorporate discipleship as serving in areas of missions, outreach, and volunteerism.
We invite people into regular engagement with Scripture, prayer and other spiritual practices by making it more available and attainable.
We prioritize faith formation and participation of children and adolescents both in the church and at home, recognizing their influence in our faith community.

All ages and many ministries promote the LIVE part of our vision.

Jesus Christ is the living embodiment of God’s mission, rule, and work in the world. Central commits to develop a deeper understanding of who Christ is and what that means to us, our neighbors, and our world. 

We will be a Jesus-focused church continually learning to live in a way that promotes the Kingdom of God.
We develop and maintain a non-anxious, Christ-centered approach when navigating challenging and relevant topics.
We define how Sunday worship and other gatherings can grow and mature us in Christ.
We increase our interpretation and understanding of Scripture through the lens of Jesus Christ.
We identify how missions at Central will foster faith growth and help equip disciples.
We become a Christ-centered resource for panhandle-area faith communities and our global missions partners.

While there are many ways and places that we seek to learn about Jesus, one of the primary ways we can be together as a church body is in worship on Sunday mornings.

The Heavenly Father loves us, and we all belong to the family of God — we were not created to be alone. We seek to strengthen our understanding of Togetherness. 

We will be known as a church of God’s love, diverse and intergenerational relationships, and sharing life together.
We strive to expand our Togetherness by enhancing and staffing a hospitality ministry centered on guest services and involvement.
We promote Togetherness by engaging intentionally with our online community.
We continue to increase the incorporation of intergenerational connections within the faith community.
We explore and research how our current gatherings and facilities support Togetherness.

The hope is for every member to live out togetherness here within our church as well as in our neighborhoods and city.
