Matt Jones

Central is supporting Matt Jones with Empower One. Through this ministry, Matt works with native preachers in Uganda and Sudan to equip them to lead and spread the gospel. Empower One equips local leaders to establish churches in order to reach the unreached in the hard places of Africa.

Ring Road Ministries

Central’s first mission trip to Kenya in 2009 started a partnership that has grown into deep relationships with the children, staff, teachers, and church. Alara was a school with only 25 students and has expanded to include a primary school, middle school, and high school. Ring Road has also expanded into not only a primary school but also a middle school. Additionally, Ring Road has a clinic that takes care of the medical needs of the community.

Seth Bouchelle is our missionary in New York City, and lives in East Harlem with his wife Rui who is a physician at a local hospital. Additionally, Seth works to equip churches in evangelism and cross-cultural missionary skills.

Our House

Our House exists to provide a home in which orphanage graduates live and experience Christianity daily, learn life skills and technical skills, achieve the highest level of education desired, attain a self-supporting profession or trade, and have a good foundation on which to build a solid future.

Great Cities Missions

Central has a long-standing relationship with Great Cities Missions that began over 40 years ago. GCM trains, sends, and supports over 100 missionaries throughout the Latin World. Missions funding from Central continues to provide annual support for their organization as God reaches more corners of the world through their work.

Central Member Mission Trips

We believe that God is at work throughout the world through a variety of people, and we want to help make that a reality for our own members. With funds given through Missions Month, we are able to help cover the costs for members participating in mission trips outside of Central or to pay for internships with either our global missionaries or local partners.

Student Mission Trips

Funding received during Missions Month also benefits our Student Ministry participating in mission trips. Our students have the opportunity to serve and lead at Camp Blessing—a summer camp experience for students with special needs. Additionally, both middle school and high school teens participate in Students in Action—three days here in Amarillo dedicated to serving through our outreach ministries, with our local mission partners, and with other organizations in our community.
